Thoughtful Questions Dinner Conversation Starters!

Nine Acres Designs is proud to announce the release of a new type of card that will be added to the line of products offered here. Introducing the Dinner Conversation Cards which feature thought provoking questions to spark conversations with family and friends! The first set available is the Thoughtful Questions Set 1. This set features some serious and some not-so-serious questions that require more than a "yes" or "no" answer. Do not set the dinner table without one!

This set includes 20 cards, enough for a question each weekday for a month. I have a 12 and 10 year old child who are at the typical age where "nothing" or "okay" is the answer to my attempts at dinner time discussion. Now...it is a whole different world. Their first question for me in the evening is, "What's for dinner?" and the second is, "What is the question for tonight?" We have had some pretty lively discussions over the answers to these questions. I feel like it helps me better understand my husband and kids, especially when they answer the questions in a way I was not expecting. Inevitably, the discussion ends up moving on to a new topic, filling our precious family time with thought filled talk. These cards aren't just for kids, though...it is great for adults too!

Each set will come to you in a reusable zip sealed bag with a sticker for easy identification of different sets. It will be wrapped in ribbon for a beautiful presentation, ready for stocking stuffing or gift giving. (Ribbon color and variety may vary.)

Every card is laminated for durability. The 5mm lamination resists messy hands, spills, and moisture. These cards can be reused again and again. After using them at home, take them to a dinner party and use them again!

The Adult Loving Thoughts cards are not laminated so you can write a personal note on the back to your loved one. I have hidden them in coffee mugs for a morning surprise; in a suitcase when he is leaving for a trip; or on his car seat for when he goes to work.

These cards look the same as the lunch box cards for kids...business size cards with an image, and laminated for durability...but instead of child related lunch box cards, these are Dinner Conversation Starters!

Each card features a question that can serve as a topic of discussion for family dinners, dinner parties, etc. My kids LOVE to hear and answer the questions each night and it helps Brian and I as parents from getting the typical answer of "I don't know," or "Fine," answers to our "How was school today," questions. It also helps us get more insight to our kids thinking processes and it allows our kids to see us as humans too ;0)

Limited Edition Christmas Riddles Lunch Box Cards (Set of 24)

Simple Smooches by Nine Acres Designs has a new set of Lunch Box Cards to offer! This limited edition Christmas set will only be available through November 30 and there will not be a second printing, so grab a set now!

Each card has a Christmas themed picture and a Christmas riddle. Answers to the riddles are printed on the back of the cards.

These cards are great for sharing one a day as a way to count down to Christmas Day! Since there are 24 cards, you can start on December 1 and the cards will last until Christmas Eve. Great for sending in a Lunch Box to school or to read each night as a family at dinner time.

My kids are getting older and prefer not to have them in their lunch box anymore, but they LOVE to share one each night at dinner.

Limited Edition Halloween Luch Box Cards Available!

I am pleased to announce that this set of 20 limited-edition laminated lunchbox cards for Halloween are now available! There are only 9 8 (I just sold one before I could post this!) sets printed (well, 10 sets actually, but I use one set with my own kids!) and only 9 8 will be available this year! I am happy to announce the new release of Nine Acres Designs' Patriotic Postcards! Inspired by a friend of mine who is a military wife and recently had two of her friends injured in the war, these postcards are meant to celebrate our country and those Americans who keep it safe for us.
